Claire and Tavi – from New York – contacted us to plan a day for them and their daughters while their husbands where at work in Milan. Claire is active and love nature, while Tavi is creative and loves art… so we thought that a private cruise of the central part of the lake with visits to Villa Melzi and Villa Carlotta’s Gardens would be the perfect choice.
“I loved everything about Villa Carlotta… the interiors are stunning floor to ceiling! And what can I say about the wonderful statues by Canova. I couldn’t have been happier to have visited it!!!!” – Tavi
At the end of the day the two friends asked us to plan another day out – just the two of them – on the boat to all the way from their hotel in Tremezzo to Como and back.
“I really enjoyed our day in the botanical gardens and loved the cruise in the central part of the lake… so much so that I wanted more of this stunning lake and its views. Laura and her team are real pros and fulfilled all our request even the last minute one for a private tour just for me an Tavi the next day!” – Claire
The rest of their stay was spent relaxing at the SPA and by the poolside of their hotel.
“We decided to follow our husbands on this trip as they had previously been on Lake Como and loved it… they assured us we would not get bored… and they were right! Lake Como For You planned for us the best tours and gave us insightful suggestions on what to do during the weekend with Max, Matt and the kids during the weekend. We are looking forward to their next business trip in Milan so we’ll have an excuse to enjoy another of their tours!” – Tavi and Claire
