Explore Bellagio like you would never be able to do with the help of a local! Walk through the old town and the enchanting surroundings and enjoy a walk in the magnificent gardens of Villa Melzi. End with a stop to taste local cheese and sliced meats, accompanied by a glass of wine.
During this unique walking tour we will explore Bellagio’s historic center and its marvelous and characteristic surroundings. Meet our guide near the ferry terminal and reach our first stop: Punta Spartivento, the point where lake’s three branches meet with a view of the towering alpine background. We will then walk through the picturesque and colorful steep stone alleys of the hamlet to reach the characteristic fishing village of Pescallo.
We will slowly reach the other side of the lake and descend a grassy path to the port of Loppia, home to rare examples of 19th century Larian Gondolas.
The tour will continue with another highlight, the romantic gardens of Villa Melzi where our tour guide will introduce you to the history of the gardens and of the villa, while also sharing some botanical tips!
End the tour with a stop at a local wineshop where you will taste local cheeses, sliced meats and a glass of local wine. Enjoy the tasting and maybe decide to stay for lunch after our guide has said good-bye.
